What is the predator code of the hunt? ›

Murder is the worst crime. Show Mercy: Those that defeated you in a fair hunt, or who are the victors in a deadlier hunt, should be considered an equal and must be shown respect. Never harm the innocent: Those who have done no harm should have no harm done to them.

Dragonflies have the highest observed hunting success of any animal, with success rates as high as 97%. They are also opportunistic and pursue a variety of prey. Predatory performance may have consequences in terms of energetics, mortality and potential loss of feeding or mating territories.

First and foremost, one of the most crucial reasons predator hunting is essential is that these animals can spread disease to other game. Just like dogs, coyotes are subject to many diseases you may have heard of before, such as parvo, distemper, rabies, and even lice, fleas, and worms.
